Age of Invention Workshop
On February 5th S1 pupils travelled to Glasgow's Museums Resource Centre to take part in an Age of Invention Workshop. The day started with some discussion on the Scottish inventors John Logie Baird, Alexander Bell and James Watt (all pictured) and then pupils were encouraged to set up some of their own experiments looking at the human body, Morse code communication and Newton's laws of motion.
Tour
There was also a tour of the storage areas inside the resource centre. There are a total of seventeen 'pods' at the site, each storing a different type of exhibit such as paintings, machinery, computers or archaelogical finds.
