Pila 2016

On 10th December thirty of our pupils travelled to Aosta in the Italian alps for a week of skiing.   They were accompanied by parents and teachers and paired up with pupils travelling from St Ninian's High School in Glasgow.  Our young people had been taking ski-ing lessons over the past year and their hard work paid off.  As confidence built throughout the week, some pupils moved on to higher graded slopes and each pupil returned with a good sense of achievement.

Group Lessons: Our pupils and our instructor prepare for a run. Building confidence: Rosie on the slopes.

Each evening there was various activities for the young people including a bowling alley and arcades.  One night there was a special trip arranged to the Christmas market in the historical Roman centre of Aosta combined with a meal in a traditional Italian pizza restaurant.

All the fun of the fair: Candy floss all round at the evening amenities. Pizzarama: The boys enjoy a proper stone-baked pizza.

All in: A great experience for all involved and we hope our young folk have made many happy memoires!
