Special Olympics 2013
On 28th August 12 pupils from Abercorn school, 11 former pupils and two staff members travelled to Bath for the 2013 Special Olympics GB National Games. Over five days, 1,700 althletes took part in 12 different sports representing different areas of the UK. Abercorn's young people were part of the West of Scotland team and brought home a large number of medals between them. In total, our pupils won 20 Gold medals, 4 silver medals and 6 bronze medals - an outstanding achievement.
