Visit to Auschwitz

On 15th November two pupils and a member of staff will travel to Poland to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp. The trip is being arranged by the Holocaust Educational Trust who have run successful visits for many years.
A chartered flight takes pupils and staff to Krakow Airport. Participants then visit three sites: The Polish town of Oswiecim, Auschwitz concentration camp and Birkenau – a purpose built extermination camp.
The pupils attending have studied the Holocaust through their work in Religious Education and Modern Studies and it should be an interesting and valuable experience for them.
