Special Olympics Leicester
On 24th July this year 22 pupils from Abercorn School travelled to Leicester for the 2009 Special Olympics. Over 7 days, 3000 athletes competed in various events including football, basketball, athletics and swimming. The opening ceremony saw 32,000 spectators descend upon Walkers Stadium.
