S4 Work Experience

During the run up to Christmas many of our S4 pupils attended work experience placements supported by Glasgow's Future Works Programme. The placements were very varied with some pupils attending Nurseries, Charity shops or completing horticultural placements.

These supervised visits were a great success and the pupils have expressed how much they enjoyed the experience and how much of a drag it is to be back at school!

In the coming weeks, the remainder of S4 pupils will be attending unsupervised placements around the city. These include retail posts, construction work and gardening among others.  This is a great opportunity for our young people to gain experience in the work place and to build their confidence and social skills.

Good luck guys!
